Blog commenting can be used to increase your blogs SEO and drive traffic to your site. In this post I’m going to reveal a number of tips on how to use blog commenting to create free leads and drive traffic back to your site.
Blog Commenting can create free leads if you follow the “how to blog commenting guide” I’ve outlined below.
1. Find Hi Quality, Hi Traffic Blogs in Your Niche It just makes sense that if your trying to create leads by blog commenting that you’d want to comment on high traffic sites where you’ll get more exposure. Here are a few ways to find relevant hi traffic blogs.
a. Go to Google, type in “Keyword” or “Name of your Niche” + blog.
b. Once again go to Google and type in something like “List of Top Article Marketing Blogs” Just substitute your Niche for Article Marketing.
c. Once you’ve collected lists of blogs you want to comment on save them as csv files, excel, notepad or bookmark them so you can use them easily each time you want to create leads with blog commenting.
2. Brand Yourself If you’re going to get the attention of bloggers and other people leaving comments you need to stand out from the crowd. Nothing looks worse than people who leave comments that have the plain auto generated avatars. Let people see you and get to know you. 3. Comment Early, Comment Often You will get the best bang for your blog commenting efforts if your the first one to comment. At the least you want to be in the top 5. 8. Humor Be yourself. Be funny. Humor is always appreciated. But don’t just tell jokes, you still have to add valuable quality comments. Yes you too…
9. Comment on the Comments One way to show that you paid attention to the post is to comment on the comments. Once again you can agree or disagree, just add value and don’t argue. This is a great way to get other people to come check out your blog.
10. Do Follow vs. No Follow When you’re trying to drive traffic back to your site with Blog Commenting be sure and comment on both type of blogs. The goal here is not to increase your Page Rank, but to increase the traffic to your blog. It doesn’t matter if the spiders can’t follow the link, as long as your fellow comenters can.
11. Super Ninja Tip Go to a blog you want to comment on. Make sure that the blog posts the name of you most recent post in your comment. Find a post topic that you like and then write your own. Be sure not to copy their post. Do your research and write it in your own works. Make the tile of your post similar to theirs, but be sure it’s unique. After you’ve written the post go leave your blog comment. This way you’ll improve your odds of people coming to your site to get more info or to find out more about you.
